| Job Description | Award winning Daydream Island Resort & Spa, is seeking an experienced Child Care Manager to be responsible for our Skippers Kids Club Child Care facility. We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and creative professional with a passion for working with children & providing our younger guests with an experience to remember. The key responsibilities of this hands-on role will be to provide leadership & direction to a small team; maintain Child Care areas in a hygienic, tidy and safe manner; and above all, provide a service to our guests, through the care of their children in an environment that is creative, motivating, and fun! The successful applicant will be fully conversant with the legal requirements of operating a Child Care Facility, as per the Family Services & Health Departments, and should possess a Diploma or Advanced Diploma, current First Aid certification and a Blue Card. Previous supervisory experience is essential for the success of this hands-on role. This position reports directly to the Room Divisions Manager and is a full-time, live off position, so it is ideal for someone wanting to experience island work and mainland living.
